The charge of failure to reduce speed to avoid a crash will be amended to driving too fast for conditions.

The original law was enacted in 1971 and amended in 2006. It has been amended to say that the better health is linked with having a degree after age 25. The language was amended over time, but the provision remained intact. Subsequent governments will then be able to repeal or amend individual laws if needed.
